Being a 17 year old who had access to social media since 6 years old, I can definitely say I have some regrets about it. As much as it is a good idea to have access to everything , it’s as bad. When you think of it, do you really want your children to see things they aren’t supposed to see? As children become more active online at a younger age, the possibility and probability that they’ll see something inappropriate all depends on what they’re doing online. Do you want your child to see Content containing swearing? Or Sites that encourage vandalism, crime, terrorism, racism, eating disorders, even suicide? As much as I love my phone and talking with my friends everyday. I wouldn’t give my future children A lot of access to social media.
